VISIT TO BHARAT MANDAPAM, NEW DELHI WORLD BOOK FAIR 2026

Delhi Public School, Vasant Kunj participated in the New Delhi World Book Fair 2026 at Bharat Mandapam over two days. The visit featured a cultural performance by the school choir and an educational excursion for approximately 400 students.

DAY 1: 12th JANUARY 2026

The DPS Vasant Kunj School Choir performed ‘Vande Mataram’ at the Book Fair, commemorating the 150th anniversary of India’s iconic patriotic song. The rendition was well-received and reflected the school’s commitment to celebrating India’s cultural and literary heritage.

DAY 2: 13th JANUARY 2026

Approximately 400 students from DPS Vasant Kunj visited the New Delhi World Book Fair, accompanied by faculty members and the School Principal. The highlight of the day was an interactive session with Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, India's celebrated Air Force fighter pilot and astronaut. Students engaged with him and gained valuable insights into his career in the Indian Air Force and his role in India's space program. The session included discussions on his astronaut training and space mission. This was followed by an active Q&A session with enthusiastic student participation.

  

    

 

 

 

Ranthambore Trip

Class 7 - 21st – 23rd November,2025

An educational trip to Ranthambore for the students of Class 7 was organized by Edterra for three days from 21stNovember to 23rd November,2025. 90 students accompanied by ten teachers and the members of Edterra embarked on the journey with great enthusiasm. 27 boys with 4 teachers stayed at Tiger Moon Resort and the stay for 63 girls was arranged at Ranthambore National Resort. The trip included a thrilling jungle safari where the children curiously watched the magnanimous animals in close proximity with delight. This was followed by a Documentary Screening session, a skit on ‘Save Tiger’, an interaction with a Naturalist at the resort which helped students understand the importance of conservation and wildlife. Pottery, Games and a live podcast made by some students helped foster team work and develop respect for nature. A visit to the Rajiv Gandhi Regional Museum of National History to learn about the extinct animals and Dastkar –an NGO, to create awareness of the traditional handicraft, was organized on Day two. The day concluded with a DJ dance and sumptuous buffet. With giggles and laughter, students carried unforgettable memories with a lot of learning gained from their experience.
