NRITYANJALI- Inter-DPS National Dance Festival-2025
Delhi Public School Vasant Kunj proudly hosted the National Inter-DPS Dance Competition- ‘Nrityanjali’ under the aegis of The DPS Society on Saturday, 22nd November, 2025.
A distinguished panel of judges; Smt. Moumala Nayak, Smt. Moumita Vats Ghosh, Smt. Richa Jain and Smt. Shruti Sinha evaluated enthralling performances by talented dancers from twenty (20) DPS schools selected out of ninty seven (97) online entries received in the first round from across the nation.
The Valedictory Ceremony was honoured by the illustrious presence of Shri BK Chaturvedi, Chairman of the Delhi Public School Society and Smt. Vibha Chaturvedi. Shri B.K Chaturvedi presided as the Chief Guest for the afternoon. Their presence elevated the prestige of the event.
Ms. Deepti Vohra, Principal of DPS Vasant Kunj, warmly welcomed the guests and motivated both participants and spectators with her eloquent reflections on dance as an effective medium of promoting culture and strengthening ties.
In his address, Chief Guest, Shri BK Chaturvedi, praised the remarkable performances by each team, noting how “dance conveys effectively without words”. He applauded the school for bringing such initiatives to life and highlighted the value of learning from lesser-known stories. He congratulated the three winners and commended all dancers for performing with confidence. Appreciating the excellent glimpses of each presentation, he expressed his hope to see even more in the future.
The prestigious Rolling Trophy was proudly claimed by DPS KP-V, Greater Noida West, marking their remarkable victory. DPS Bangalore South was celebrated as the First Runners-up, while DPS Mathura Road attained the Third Position.
A special award for ‘Most Synchronized Performance’ was conferred upon DPS R K Puram, while DPS Ranchi received acclaim for ‘Best Costume’. Showcasing estimable creativity, flow, and precision, the dancers from DPS Navi Mumbai clinched the title for ‘Best Choreography’. Finally, the award for ‘Best Theme Depiction’ was proudly presented to DPS Kolar Road, Bhopal.
The National Anthem brought the day to a close, concluding a celebration filled with artistry, poise, and cultural richness.
