Class Nursery - Visit to Rail Museum
“The National Rail Museum is a journey into India’s heritage — where every engine, carriage and track tells the story of progress, perseverance, and pride.”
A special educational trip was organized for the students of Class Nursery to the National Rail Museum, New Delhi, on 30th September, 2025 (Tuesday) in collaboration with OnMark Adventure. A total of 135 students, 14 teachers and 5 helpers along with the Onmark Adventure team went for the excursion in 5 buses. The trip was planned with the objective of providing young learners a unique opportunity to explore India’s rich railway heritage in an engaging and interactive manner.
The children, accompanied by their teachers, set off from school at 9:00am. On arrival, they were fascinated to see the vast collection of steam, diesel, and electric locomotives displayed in the outdoor gallery. The highlight of the day was the joyful ride on the toy train, which the children thoroughly enjoyed. Inside the museum, they observed rare photographs, miniature models, and historical exhibits that gave them a glimpse of how railways in India have evolved over the years. After a healthy and delicious meal everyone returned to school by 12:00pm.
The visit was both educational and enjoyable, sparking curiosity and helping the little ones connect classroom learning with real-life experiences.

Class I - Picnic to Lodhi Garden
The children of Class I went on a day’s picnic to Lodhi Garden on 29th September 2025, organised by On Mark. The educational-cum-fun trip had the little ones all excited and enthusiastic! They enjoyed spending time in the lush green garden, sharing their picnic tiffin with their peers, playing, and walking around. The children also visited the monuments and enjoyed being clicked. The bus journey was equally delightful, filled with peals of laughter and cheerful chatter.
The fun-filled day once again created beautiful memories to cherish!
DPS Vasant Kunj organized educational trips for Classes Prep, I and II.
The students of Classes I and II embarked on an exciting educational trip to the Museum of Illusions on 19th and 21st August, 2025, respectively. Upon arriving at the museum, the students were captivated by the colorful walls and intriguing visuals. The museum was filled with visual tricks and optical illusions that sparked their imagination and inspired creativity. The students explored various fascinating rooms, including the Rotating Tunnel, the Upside-Down Room, the Clone Table, Magic Mirrors, and 3D Picture Displays.
On 20th August, 2025, the students of Class Prep visited the National Rail Museum. They explored the rich heritage of Indian Railways and enjoyed viewing the grand locomotives, saloons, and wagons. The highlight of the day was the delightful toy train ride, which brought smiles to every face.
These trips provided a unique and memorable educational experience, promoting curiosity and leaving the young students enriched and inspired.

Educational Trips - Classes III, IV & V
The students of Classes III, IV and V went on educational trips in the month of July.
On 24th July 2025, the students of Class IV visited the Museum of Illusions, where they explored the intriguing world of optical illusions, visual tricks and mind-bending exhibits. These activities challenged their perception, sparked imagination and inspired creativity. The children walked through various rooms and learned scientific concepts in a fun and memorable way.
On the same day, the students of Class V visited Kidzania, a unique indoor mini-city. The children role-played real-world professions in a fun and safe environment. They got the chance to try out different careers such as doctor, firefighter, pilot, chef, and news reporter, enabling them to learn teamwork and important life skills in a fun-filled environment.
Later, on 31st July 2025, Class III visited the Nehru Planetarium and the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya. The trip offered a fascinating combination of space exploration and a journey through India's political history. The dome-shaped Sky Theatre was the main attraction of the planetarium, showcasing a captivating sky show about stars, galaxies, and celestial phenomena. The Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya pays tribute to all of India's Prime Ministers since Independence and showcases their contributions to nation-building and democracy. The museum offered an engaging experience of India's political history and the contributions of its Prime Ministers.
All these visits were both enjoyable and enriching, offering students valuable learning experiences beyond the classroom.
