  The Adventure Sports Camp

 

Day out at DPS, Vasant Kunj : The Adventure Sports Camp

 

DPS Vasant Kunj organised a thrilling one-day Adventure Activity Camp in collaboration with Rocksport  on Friday,23rd February’24.Around 383 students from Classes  Nursery and Prep participated in the camp.The day was marked with sports , fun and adventure as the little ones portrayed confidence and courage and the zeal to try out all activities that were arranged such as - Commando Net,Laser Beam,Sports Climbing,Zip Line,Magical Maze,Commando Crawl, Tyre Swing,Hamster Wheel,Hopscotch and Burma Bridge.The Camp also helped to instil leadership skills and build focus and determination among the children.It was a beautiful experience for the tiny tots as they thoroughly enjoyed the day and took home memories of  a lovely adventure!

Participants were also given Certificate of Participation by Rocksport.

  

   

DPS Vasant Kunj organised a one-day Adventure Activity Camp in collaboration with Rocksport  on 20th February 2024, for the students of Class V in the school premises.  About 255 students took part in the adventure camp with great delight, energy and enthusiasm. The day began with a briefing session conducted by the Rocksport Camp leader, followed by a group distribution. The students took part in a plethora of activities such as- Zip-line, Commando Crawl, Commando Net, Body Zorb, Mountain Climb, Magnetic Maze, and many more activities conducted under the supervision of the teachers and trained volunteers of the Rocksport.The purpose of the camp was to enhance the leadership skills in the students, improve their focus and determination as they pushed themselves beyond their comfort zones. It helped them to inculcate increased social skills as they worked collaboratively and learnt to take accountability.  The participating students were given certificates of participation by the Rocksport.   

  

  

 An adventure sports camp in collaboration with Rocksport was organised by DPS Vasant Kunj on the 28th of December 2023 for classes 1and 2. The students were divided into groups and each group was assigned a group leader. There were numerous activities like BurmaBridge, Hopscotch Commando-net, Zip lining, Wall climbing etc. These activities were aimed at maintaining the fitness level and overall physical and mental development of the students along with driving a healthy competitive spirit in them. Those participating were thrilled beyond imagination.

 It was overall a fun filled experience for teachers as well as the students.
