Teachers’ Day Celebration - 2025
The Teachers’ Day celebration at DPS Vasant Kunj was held on 4th September 2025 in the school’s Multipurpose Hall. Organized by the students of Classes XI and XII, the event was a befitting tribute to the dedication and hard work of the teachers.
The cultural programme presented by the students was a delightful blend of dance, Western music, and Indian music, showcasing their talent and creativity. The Indian classical rendition, in particular, received a standing ovation from the teachers. The efforts and enthusiasm of the students were deeply appreciated by both the teaching and non-teaching staff.
Following the performances, the Principal, Ms. Deepti Vohra, addressed the gathering. She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the teachers for their tireless contributions towards the growth and success of the students and urged everyone to work collectively towards making the school the best in the country.
A highlight of the event was the presentation of the prestigious Excellence in Education Award to two teachers, Ms. Barshani Dhar and Ms. Sangeeta Vachcher, by the Principal. This honour was a recognition of their exemplary dedication and commitment to the school. Marking the decennial bestowal of the award, all past recipients were also felicitated with a trophy, making this year’s celebration especially significant.
The event proved to be a memorable occasion, filled with warmth and appreciation, further strengthening the bond between teachers and students at DPS Vasant Kunj.
