Janmashtami Assembly
Delhi Public School, Vasant Kunj, celebrated the auspicious occasion of Krishna Janmashtami on 13th August, 2025, with vibrant festivities and a spirit of joyful participation. The students of Class III conducted a special assembly to mark the occasion. The celebration aimed to connect students with the cultural and spiritual significance of Lord Krishna's birth, emphasizing his teachings and the spirit of devotion.
The festivities commenced with a melodious bhajan dedicated to Lord Krishna. Students, dressed as Lord Krishna, Radha, and other characters from his life, brought a vibrant splash of colour to the school premises, which were beautifully adorned with traditional decorations.
Mesmerizing dance performances by talented students brought the story of Lord Krishna’s life to the stage through graceful movements and expressive storytelling, captivating everyone present. The highlight of the assembly was the enthusiastic mass participation of the students, whose vibrant performances enthralled the audience.
The Vice Principal, Mrs. Malini Sengupta, appreciated the children for the success of the grand event. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem.
