  ENGLISH LITERARY AND DEBATE CLUB

  The English Literary & Debate Club

INTRODUCTION:

This society has within its ambit the Literary Club and the Debate Club of the school comprising of budding orators and writers keen on exploring the invigorating nuances of the English language. 

AIM:

The main aim of the society is to provide a platform to the students to enhance and hone their speaking and writing skills.

RECRUITMENT:

 Students are inducted into the society via an annual intra-class competition held by the senior-most and well-experienced members of the society. The four primary categories in which students can participate and prove their mettle are Creative Writing, Recitation, Group Discussion and Debating. Post recruitment the members are added to a discord group where they can discuss and share their ideas.

ACTIVITIES:

• Two intra-school competitions were conducted in the month of October 2022 by the society which involved students of classes VI - XII.
• The events held were Creative Writing, Poetry Recitation and Debate.
