THE ENVIRONMENT COUNCIL

AIM:

The aim of the club is to create awareness about environmental issues, such as global warming, pollution, climate change and deforestation, amongst students and share sustainable methods to live an eco-friendly life.

 

RECRUITMENT PROCESS:

To join the club the students need to undergo a round of interviews as well as share information about their existing skills and knowledge in the related areas.

SANITARY PAD DONATION

A donation of 5,000 sanitary pads was made to the school to support menstrual hygiene and promote awareness among students. Jhanvi Bhatia, President of the Environment Council, initiated and coordinated the donation, ensuring that essential menstrual hygiene products were made available to students who may need them. The initiative aimed to ensure that students have access to essential menstrual hygiene products and to encourage greater awareness and openness regarding menstrual health. The donation was received by the school representatives in the presence of the members involved in the initiative. The programme was a meaningful step towards promoting menstrual hygiene, dignity and wellbeing among students. Such initiatives help create a more supportive and inclusive school environment.
