Jigyasa 2021



EVS Department of the Junior School celebrated EVS Week - JIGYASA from 11th January 2021 to 15th January 2021 with great enthusiasm for the students of classes III – V. The new Online mode could not dampen the spirits of the children as well as the teachers, rather the use of technology helped to conduct new interesting and engaging Online activities which helped the students to learn in a fun-filled environment.  
The theme of the week was Unity in Diversity.  
 
Day-I commenced with an Online Puzzle and Quiz on ‘Know your country’ for class-V. ‘Antariksh Ki Khoz', an Online Puzzle and Quiz was conducted for students of class-IV.  Enthusiasm of our little ones of class-III knew no bound when they participated in an Online Puzzle and Quiz on ‘States of India’.
Day-II began with the celebration of States Day.The students of classes III - V dressed up and represented different states of India. They spoke about the handicrafts, cuisine, dance forms, culture of different states of India and portrayed best example of unity in diversity of our country. 
During this time of Covid-19 when everyone is bound to stay indoors, Virtual Tour to different places was enjoyed by the children on Day -III.The students of class-III  were taken on a virtual tour to Qutub Minar and other places of tourist attraction in Delhi.
Class-IV was taken on a virtual tour to Magnificent Taj Mahal and students of class-V enjoyed a ‘Virtual Tour of Rajasthan’.  They visited places like Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Lake Palace in Udaipur etc.
 
The week was a huge success as it was an informative, inspiring and enjoyable experience for the students.
