Annual Day Class-I-2020

243 students of Class I stood with pride and love for their nation as they celebrated the 71st Republic Day of our country on 23rd January, 2020. The programme commenced with a welcome song 'Sath Chale Hum', presented by the school choir. It was followed by the welcome address by the Senior Mistress, Ms Geetika Bahl. The show was an enchanting ensemble depicting the contemporary drives and movements like 'Sach Bharat Abhiyan', 'Fit India Movement' and 'Say No to Single Use Plastic' introduced by our Honourable Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi, for the progress and prosperity of our country. While the classical and the folk dances of India added its charismatic magic to the programme, the national symbols invoked the patriotic sentiments amongst everyone present. A dance on 'Tik Tik', the anthem to say no to single use plastic and the 'Fitness Drill' performed by the students truly reflected the changing face of India. The tiny tots of Class I, dressed up in beautifully hued attires, stole the hearts of the audience with their electrifying performances. The confident narrators with their excellent oratory skills made the show a big success. The Vice Principal, Ms Hemalatha Muralidharan, proposed the vote of thanks and appreciated the teachers and students for their persistent efforts. The programme concluded with the national anthem being sung in unison.
