Procedure for Admission
Class XI
The school grants admission in class XI in three streams namely
Science, Commerce and Humanities. '
The Science Course: English, Physics and Chemistry are the
compulsory subjects for the students . The Medical Stream : This has Biology
as the fourth subject while the fifth subject can be Maths or Psychology.
The Non Medical Stream : This has
fourth subject as Mathematics and the fifth subject can be Computer Science or
Economics.
Eligibility 85% ESM marks in Board Exam.
The Commerce Course: English, Accountancy, Business Studies and
Economics are compulsory subjects. For the fifth subject, students have a choice of
Mathematics / Psychology.
Eligibility 85%
Aggregate marks in Board Exam.
The Humanities Course: English is a compulsory subject. Other
choices are :
Economics
History / Fashion Design
Political Science / Fine Arts
Maths / Psychology
Eligibility 85% Aggregate marks in Board Exam.
The first admission notice is published in the
newspaper in the month of April after the Board Exams of class X. . Students
securing 75% aggregate in their Pre Board exams are registered for Science Stream and an
admission test is conducted. The candidates who qualify this test are
interviewed by the Principal and the faculty after which the admission is
finalized .
Students seeking admission in Commerce and Humanities
streams should also have aggregate of 75% and above in their Pre-Board Exams. Admissions
to these streams are finalized after an interview with the Principal.
ADMISSION GRANTED ON THE BASIS OF THE PRE BOARD RESULT IS
PURELY PROVISIONAL AND SUBJECT TO THE STUDENT PASSING WITH 85% ESM FOR
SCIENCE AND 85% AGGREGATE FOR COMMERCE AND HUMANITIES STREAMS.
The second admission notice is published in the
newspaper in the month of June after the Board Results of class X. Students
securing 85% in English, Science and Mathematics ( ESM ) in their Board exams are registered for Science Stream.
Students seeking admission in Commerce and Humanities
streams should have aggregate of 85% and above in their Board Exams. Admission is granted on the basis of merits.
Final list of successful students is put up at the school gate
as well as on the Internet.
