Mrs. Manorama Sharma – Incharge  Shiksha Kendra

A career spanning 22 years with diverse experiences of teaching in various parts of India - Mrs. Sharma epitomizes the concept of an Ideal Guru in the real world. Equipped with a post graduate degree in English and Hind, she joined the DPS family in 1992. The three D's of success - Dedication, Determination and Discipline have been her mantra. Mrs. Sharma took up the reigns of the Shiksha Kendra in the year 2003.

From a humble yet promising beginning, today the Shiksha Kendra at D.P.S. Vasant Kunj is a jewel in its crown Mrs. Manorama Sharma, speaks of it as a very satisfying experience and a small step towards a brighter future for the girl child in this country. The school today is upto class 3 and is growing steadily. Along with academics, the girls are also encouraged to participate in extra - curricular activities.

In the words of Mrs. Sharma, "I want my girls to do well, not only in academics but in life. These children have the potential, they only need to be shown the right direction."
