CBSE organized a Science Exhibition for students of classes IX to XII on 22nd and 23rd August 2008 at V.V. DAV School, Vikaspuri. 80 schools participated and displayed their models on the sub themes -'Water Management, 'Food and Agriculture', 'Mathematical Modelling', 'Educational Technology', 'Energy Resources' and 'Disaster Management.
Our school also took part in the exhibition under two different sub themes :-
- Water Management
Title of the Exhibit : Grey Water Recycling
Participants : Srishti Gupta (IX-F) and Chhavi Gupta (IX-F) under guidance of Ms. Ritu Satija.
- Energy Resources
Title of the Exhibit : Nanotechnology
Participants : Akash Sood (XI) and Rohan Jain (XI) under guidance of Ms. Upma Raizada.
Out of 123 exhibits which were displayed, 15 got selected for the national level science exhibition. Our project on 'Grey Water Recycling' qualified for the National Level CBSE Science Exhibition.
