A teacher is like a candle - it consumes itself to light the way for others. » The Teachers’ Day Celebrations held in our school were a tribute to this very quality of the individuals who have inculcated in us, all the knowledge and personality traits that we are proud of possessing.
The day commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. This was succeeded by a heartening welcome address by our Principal, Mrs. Bindu Sehgal, where she commended the perseverance and unflinching support and guidance shown by the Teachers, and also thanked all the students for their magnificent efforts towards making the day a success, in spite of the bad weather. The students enthralled all present by showcasing some mesmerising performances. To the thunderous applause of the audience, students of the Junior School performed to classic Hindi songs. A self-composed song by a student of the school  held everyone in a trance. As is customary, titles were conferred to all the Teachers. The Day ended on a cheerful note with all the teachers and students getting emotional and nostalgic.
