Students of class VIIth , Delhi Public School , Vasant Kunj celebrated their Annual Day on Saturday ‘3rd Dec’11. The programme began with traditional lighting of the lamp by the Principal , Ms. Bindu Sehgal ,the chief guest Mrs.Satinder Kaur (Regional Director of education, South zone) accompanied by the Vice- Principal of the school Mrs.Rachna Gupta and the Headmistress Mrs. Archana Misra .This was followed by a welcome song ‘Dhanya Dhanya Des ‘ , which was appreciated by one and all. Scholar badges were given to the students for their outstanding performance in academics .The highlight of the event was the cultural show- “Des Mera Rangeela” celebrating the rich culture and traditions of India with its plethora of folk dances.
 Around 271 students participated in this event. Vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Archana Misra , the Headmistress of the school.
