On this occasion, we all at DPS VK, saluted the stalwarts of the nation.
The assembly commenced with the school prayer read by the HM, Mrs. Rachna Gupta, followed by a very spirited and zealous patriotic song, 'Hum Navjawan Hai Watan Ke..'and a short narration on the importance of the Republic Day.
The Principal, Mr. Vinay Kumar, inspired the children to become 'good human beings and good citizens by fulfilling their duty as a student to give the best to the country.'
The children were told to always remember that 'this day is more a day of dedication than rejoicing' and to pledge to work for the glorious task of making our country secure, satisfied and happy in every way and to join hands for global peace and harmoy.
