The Earth Day assembly was conducted by DPS Vasant Kunj environment council on 20th April 2010. The assembly commenced with chanting of shlokas alongwith lightening of lamp by the esteemed Chief Guest Dr. B. C. Sabata (Senior Scientific Officer, Ministry of Environment). CEEC members presented a melange of thought provoking views, dance and song rendition, all related to the environment. Dr. Sabata enlighted the gathering with his words dedicated to the preservation of Mother Earth. The entire assembly pledged their commitment towards the cause. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks.
