I  feel very delighted to say that I have got 2^nd Rank in CBSE PMT 2004 Exam. I want to thank the god, my parents and my school teachers for their support during my preparation. The competitive atmosphere in the school helped me to bring out best from myself.

Once again, I want to thank to the teachers of DPS Vasant Kunj for giving their support and full co-operation to achieve my goal.

Other achievements are:

1.     Cleared National Olympiad in Chemistry and Biology in 2003.

2.     Secured 9^th Rank in DPMT-2004, also cleared AFMC written test.

Success comes to those who dare to dream. An excellent example of this success is Shivali Sehgal, a student of DPS VASANT KUNJ since 1991, she stands today as a mentor for many aspiring medical students. She scored a whopping 91.8% for her class XII board exams and was Rank 4 in the AIPMT, Rank 36 in DPMT. She also got selected at the Aligarh Muslim University, Manipal University and AFMC. When asked about what she wanted to be in life ? She coyly replies ? A cardiologist. A very focused and sincere effort made it all possible for her. She thanks the school principal Shri Vinay Kumar and his team of dedicated teachers for tapping her potential and latent talents.

I had dreamt of such success, but had never expected something as exhilarating as this.
The only formula to this success is regular and consistent had work, after all there's no shortcut to success. I didn't study 12 hours a day 7 days a week, throughout the year - that would've only made me vulnerable to tension & unnecessary pressure. In fact, I didn't study at all for my mid-terms and got just about 85%. But then, I started studying regularly and by the end, I had revised the course three times over.
I would attribute this success of mine to my parents, teachers and friends who supported and encourage me. And for all these who are now in class X, I have one line - 'There is no substitute for hard work'
