Letter to the Parents

1st May 2008

 Dear Parents,

Every new session marks a new beginning and as we launch into a new academic year, we look back with pride and satisfaction at the year gone by. I take this opportunity to thank you for the faith you have reposed in us and it is largely due to your support that we stand where we are today.

Development and progress are the hallmark of a good institution and keeping this as our motto, we constantly make efforts to better ourselves.

In the last academic session we introduced Fashion Technology as a subject at the +2 level and are in the process of developing a laboratory for the same. We have already acquired equipment for this Lab.

The Senior Computer Lab is being modernized and refurbished with the latest technology and new machines. The school now has a fully functional Maths Lab equipped with models and practice materials.

To meet the total learning needs of the students we have designed and developed series of workbooks in all subjects and for all classes. They are meant to reinforce concepts taught, thus enabling the child to go that extra mile beyond the text.

Yoga has been integrated into the regular curriculum with the aim of developing concentration skills among children and helping them cope with the self imposed pressures of today’s life. Truly, growth of the intellect is only possible when the mind is without fear.

It is indeed heartening to see the school prosper and surge ahead full throttle. You will be happy to know that 11 of our students have qualified in various sporting events at the National Level.

We look forward to your keen involvement in all our endeavours so that we can work together for the benefit of our children. We request your co-operation in the following :

  • To monitor and curtail the number of visitors we would request you to use the Green Appointment Card given in the almanac. Please visit the school only at the appointed time after obtaining the teacher’s consent. We request you not to meet the teachers while classes are on.
  • Please note that no child should be taken home during school hours except in an emergency, in which case adequate permission and gate pass must be obtained from the Vice Principal/Headmistress.
  • Students traveling privately must be dropped at Gate No. 3 and should not be escorted inside the school. No student is permitted to come to school in a self-driven car.
  • No student is allowed to carry cell phones to school. Non compliance will lead to confiscation and strict disciplinary action. Parents are requested to switch off their phones when in the school premises.
  • Please do not send any sweets, toffees or other eatables to celebrate your ward’s birthday.
  • You are requested to read the almanac as this is an important link between you and the school and also acquaints you with all school rules.
