E-Magazine

From the Desk of the Principal

‘Vision is the art of seeing things invisible.’

Jonathan Swift.

The ‘Dips E-Vision Junior’ is yet another step towards our ceaseless efforts to provide our children with different portals from where they can express themselves freely, In today’s fast moving world, it has become essential to have a foresight to peep into the future but we often set our sights too low. I

I firmly believe that we constantly need to broaden the scope of our horizons, extend the depth of our vision and see more in us than we think there is to be seen to be able to taken on the future rather than being taken over by the surprises it has in store for everyone.

Also keeping in view the fact that computers have become an indispensable part of our lives especially in the urban areas we expose our students to the latest softwares and hardwares catering to the specific age - groups beginning as early as class I.

Therefore, I am convinced that it is time to integrate them into our education system in a myriad ways. It is also time to give our little darlings of junior school a platform of their own from where they can give way to their creativity.

I wish them good luck with their very own E-Magazine and hope that they will voice their views openly. I also sincerely wish that they will be able to make some valuable contribution towards taking our society on the path of goodness and humanity for the onus is now on the young shoulders.

Wish you a very good luck, children!

Preface

The D.P.S. fraternity has grown largely in the past few years. Our chairman, honorable Mr. Narendra Kumar, has brought new dimensions and new meanings to the noble profession of teaching. He has deviced ways and means to make the best use of education to attain the higher goal of a just society by producing globally responsible citizens rather than producing more students.

DPS has never followed but has made followers. It has done pioneering work in almost all the fields of school education. The E-Vision, presented by the students and teachers of D.P.S., V.K. (Jr. School), is yet another endeavour to provide our students with an opportunity to express themselves freely and evolve as truly creative and openminded individuals of the society. I sincerely hope and wish that our E-Vision will provide another platform to our students, especially the junior school children, to grow wings of creativity and soar higher and higher.

Therefore, in consonance with our very own chairman’s vision we nurture his......

‘........dream of unleashing the intellectual energies of our students and the dream of encouraged and empowered youth embracing its personal and global responsibilities’.

I also take this opportunity to thank our principal, Mr. Vinay Kumar, without whose constant support, encouragement and unwavering belief in his staff, this e-magazine would not have been possible.

I, on behalf of the entire staff, proudly present the first edition of our E-vision.
