Mrs. Rachna Gupta joined the D.P.S fraternity in the year 1995 as a Senior Science teacher. A silent worker and an inspirational soul, she soon took over as Head of the Department, Biology and with utmost commitment and dedication made Biology one of  the much sought after streams at the +2 level. Ever enthusiastic, she is a passionate teacher who instills in her students a love for learning fortified with strong moral values. Her quest for excellence has resulted in repeated successes for the school in the competitive medical entrance examinations. Behind her veneer of quiet dignity lies a steely determination to achieve and excel.

A thorough academician with a professional approach, she is  a dynamic leader whose motto has always been to "Better the best". Her experience and expertise have been tapped successfully to conduct orientation workshops for various D.P.S schools in India and abroad. She has also represented the school in an exchange programme at the Manchester Grammar School, in U.K.
