Ayush Dubey, secured 59th Rank in IIT JEE 2008 a student of DPS, Vasant Kunj, shares his success tip with his teacher.
Given below is an excerpt of an interview of this Dipsite, who has done all of
us proud!!
Reporter : How many hours of study
did you put in?
Ayush : I've never measured number of hours per day that I studied. You should be satisfied with the quality of the study and not count the time.
Reporter : Was it all study and no
play?
Ayush : Studying a lot is essential but a little recreation keeps your mind and body healthy. So in summers I like to swim whereas in winters it was jogging.
Reporter : How do you feel now
that you are about to go to an engineering college?
Ayush : Obviously I was excited at the prospect of joining the most reputed engineering college in India.
Reporter : Who helped you the
most?
Ayush : Without doubt, the constant motivation and moral support of my family most helpful. Also the teachers at my coaching institute and DPS provided the right guidance. DPS provided the right atmosphere to stimulate the mind.
Reporter : Do you have any message
for friends at D.P.S., Vasant Kunj and other students?
Ayush : Regularity in studies is essential. Apart from that you should develop your study plan. Don't try and emulate what the toppers do.
All the best to
all of you.

did you put in?
Barun : About 5- 6 hrs on an average on a working day and 10 -12 hrs. on weekends and holidays.

Barun : It is rather a dream come true thus and quite delighted. But the road ahead is quite difficult to traverse, so I am staying grounded and getting ready for the next challenge.

Barun : My Teacher and my parents. They gave the direction and motivation to realise my dream. I've been lucky to get some of the best teachers whose guidance and support I always cherish.
Reporter : Do you have any message
for friends at D.P.S., Vasant Kunj and other students?
Barun : I'd advice to start their preparation right after the class X exams as two years of dedicated hard work is essential to crack the exam. Also I feel it is necessary to focus ones energy in the right direction and always heed to the advice of ones teacher as they know the best.
