Dear Parents,

This is to inform you that three students of class X-B of our school have tested positive for the H1N1 virus. All necessary action has been taken to disinfect the school premises, as per the advice of the Zonal Medical Officer, New Delhi, to contain the spread of the virus. It has been decided that classes VIII, IX and X, which are conducted in the D-Block, shall be suspended from 8th – 11th September 2009 (both days inclusive), to prevent the further spread of the virus. These classes shall be resumed from Monday, 14th September 2009.
You are requested not to send your child to school if he/she is exhibiting any symptoms of the H1N1 virus or if he/she has even a slight fever. Kindly keep him/her at home for at least seven days.
It is imperative that you inform the school authorities immediately, in case your child is found to have tested positive for the H1N1 virus.
