Sakshi was one of the successful candidates out of 6000 who appeared in the All India Entrance Test of National Institute of Design Ahmedabad in 2003 and is a student of animation film design (currently in 3rd year). She aspires to be a film maker. She has authored a book titled "Who am I?/ Main Kaun Hoon". This is a bilingual for the beginners and has been published by Tulika Publishers, Chennai.

One of her new concepts on animation was appreciated by an International Jury Comprising of members from Hong Kong, New York and Delhi.
